Go for groceries in the morning or late in the evening.
There are definitely some dos and don’ts, but it often depends on the place you shop for groceries. If you feel comfortable doing so, you should ask them when they get fresh products so you can time your shopping accordingly.
Shop in the morning
If you want the best groceries you must go when they arrive. Groceries generally arrive overnight, so it may be wise to do your shopping first thing in the morning before heading to work or school. Since many people don’t have time in the morning, they often go after work or school, which is from 16 – 18.00. If you are someone who tries to avoid rush hour, this i the time to stay away from the shops. Weekends might be quite busy as well, because a lot of people have more time than during weekdays.
If you go for the cheapest products that are about to expire you should also go in the morning. If you wait until the evening you either have limited options or the products are gone.
Thursday can be a good day
It’s hard to say what day of the week is better because it really comes down to when groceries arrive. Many people go Thursday because it’s almost the weekend and you treat yourself a little bit more than usual. There are also better offers when you go close to the weekend because shops know that people have a habit of buying more.
